"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11: 3 KJV)
Dear Fellow Pastors and Ministry Leaders:
Join me in a unique celebration of all we hold near and dear to our hearts---The Word of God. I have been divinely purposed to declare October 2001 as Bible Month at the Mega Church and I am urging you to do the same.
This is a time to let America know that the Bible (and its truths contained therein) is the very thing missing from the fabric of American life. The Bible is every Christian’s Constitution and Bill of Rights with no amendments or legislation required to walk in its tenets and privileges. This most recent, tragic, and devastating event has served as a wakeup call for me and other clergy to no longer take these precious tenets and privileges for granted.
It is the Church who needs to remind our beloved nation of its negligence and wrong. And, it is the Church who should remind America of God’s grace, mercy, and loving redemption as documented in the Bible.
Let us re-establish landmarks of hope, such as God, the Bible, and prayer in our public lives. Join me in leading our nation back to God…one pastor, one congregation, and one person at a time.
