FOUNDER, BlackandChristian.com and PRESIDENT, In His Image
BlackandChristian.com, an online ministry for Black Christians throughout the Diaspora, became a reality for its founder, Jacqueline Trussell, on February 26, 2000.
A researcher, writer, lecturer and university professor, Jacqueline is a former religion editor for the Citizen Newspaper Group and has presented research on the African American church at local and national conferences.

She graduated from Harvard Divinity School where she received a Master of Theological Studies with an emphasis in African American religious history. Jacqueline also has a second masters in Inner City Studies Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Her undergraduate degree in Communications was awarded from Roosevelt University.
Besides being the founder of BlackandChristian.com, Jacqueline is also a part-time university instructor at Roosevelt University and St. Xavier University, which are both located in Chicago. She teaches African American Studies and African and Christian religion classes.
Jacqueline is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, pastor Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright, and she currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Black Theology: An International Journal and was a consultant to the Practicing Our Faith website. She is also a member of the American Academy of Religion.
